I do not think I have ever seen a course on which the contours of the hills and valleys were so infinitely picturesque. We shall have found the golf infinitely pleasant and exhilarating.

I have always enjoyed playing golf at Wallasey. It is especially important to me as I played my last ever amateur event at Wallasey in June 2014, finishing 3rd in the Frank Stableford Open. I also think it was the only time that my brother and I played in the same scratch event.
The course is without doubt one of the best courses within the UK. The view from the 4th tee is spectacular and the final 3 holes are very demanding and therefore even if you have a good scorecard going it is difficult to protect it over the finishing holes.
The staff and members were very welcoming and I really do hope to find time to play when I am next in the UK.

…it has mighty sandhills that are fascinating, picturesque and exciting, lending a thrill to the golf on some holes that it would be difficult to better.
The course at Wallasey is everything you could wish for in a true links experience. Rolling rugged sand dunes hug an awe-inspiring coastline, thin fairways towards raised greens, elevated tees and blind shots aplenty.
